A jaunt up the Sacramento Delta got as far as just west of Sherman Island, next to the Montezuma wind farm. It looked something like this (photo credit: David Berry).
This sail was a gentle run up river (see video link below), followed by a wet beat all the way home into the freshening afternoon westerly. Managed to run aground off Simmons Pt, Chipps Island, but managed to sail her off. 37 nautical miles this trip.
