Sailing with Henry

... to Angel Island for lunch on a calm, clear, Winter's day. The wind was from the North so we anchored in the lee of Pt Knox and put our feet up.

  1. What the heck is going on on that "Anchored Out" boat in the pic?
    Also looking at your boat it looks like the main hatches only open to the side and don't slide forward. Is that the case? If so that might be a really nice upgrade since you can then steer from a semi protected spot and not loose half a compass of view:)

  2. Seems to be doing some major rig repairs. The hatches work quite well like this but need a sturdy mechanism to hold them open. The only downside is that they block your view to the side when you are sitting inside steering the boat.
