First Maintenance
After my delivery run I noticed that the port stem has been crushed on the front of the handle - a docking incident no doubt. I repaired it by injecting epoxy into the the splayed out plywood and then clamping it closed using plastic wrap as "peel ply". It will still need some more coats of epoxy and paint protection. This was my first dockside repair - all my previous boats I have been able to work on at home. It is a different experience to have to remember all of the bits that I might need and to have to carry everything through the marina from the car. It is really a temporary repair until I take the boat home for a "refit" in the winter.
