Went looking for wind to no avail. Still, a crystal clear winters day. Anchor up and make the most of it with a coffee brew.
The tide was almost out and managed to run aground - no problem on a Wharram. My little outboard dragged me off again (I didn't want to sit across the tides). Anchoring in a mud bottom with a 3 knot current was a new experience, but got it figured out. Apart from a lack of wind, the only negative for the day was encountering an aggressive armed Coastguard vessel telling me to stand clear from a ship in the channel - that was at least a mile away! No worries - enjoy the coffee and watch the sun setting.
